To read or not to read ... that is the question! And then what? What remains of a book once you read it? Ban the traditional comprehension questions (tthe so called Wh-questions!) ...  a book can certainly offer much more!

We thought that the activities of reading, vocabulary enrichment and writing could be done by making a real, useful and original object such as ... placemats

Buon divertimento!

Making these pretty placemats requires short time and no great expenses because you can actually photocopy the coloured book report the children prepared after reading the book.
You can use a variety of book reports according to the objectives you want to reach. We gave importance to the characters, the setting and we then asked our pupils to draw and colour a new cover for the book ... how do you like our breakfast placemats?! We just love them!
